Introducing ~! More weird-stuffs. The Mos WeirdStuffs (like the oreo but no sugar crash)
We did say that buildings and shops will stop moving around. But we never said anything about entirely new buildings just appearing, especially when they really don't look like they fit in the setting at all.
On September 25th, people will wake up to a new building in town. This building is about ten stories high, and the sign both at the driveway of the building and on the top of the building says 'Wechester Enterprises'.
And if asked, the people of Beachville will tell you everything they know about this new building, because (as usual) Wechester Enterprises has always been part of Beachville.
What goes on in Wechester Enterprises? We're so glad you asked, because the people of Beachville will say Wechester is responsible for pharmaceutical research (all entirely ethical, don't worry), transportation development (which is probably weird considering the only modes of transportation are rent-a-scooters and the open-air trolley), the latest in entertainment technology and so much more!
While you can enter the very tall, very city-like building, you won't get past the first floor lobby and cafe without a pass, or are part of a tour group (which is usually all of the kids at the school). You are allowed to look around, however, and keen eyed observers will notice a photo of one Jerry Schiff, Head of Transportation Research, Creator of the FluxRide Scooter System, and a banner in the photo behind him that says "HAPPY RETIREMENT, MR SCHIFF!" While you won't be able to just take the elevators without a special key-card, you will be able to notice a sign at the elevators that notes which floor is for what.
Ground Floor: Lobby and Organic Farm to Table Cafe, Security Offices.
First Floor: Transportation Research and Development
Second Floor: Pharmaceutical Research
Third Floor: Entertainment Technology.
Fourth Floor: Heath and Beauty Research
Fifth Floor: Childrens Toys Development
Sixth Floor: Employee Gym and Indoor Swimming Pool
Seventh Floor: Toys and Entertainment Testing
Eight Floor: Hydroponics Research
Ninth Floor: Law Enforcement Research and Development
Tenth Floor: Main Offices
Neat, huh?
Please Remember The Following:
At present, there is no sign that this building is going to appear. For anyone sensitive to shifts in reality, you'll start feeling extra vigilant and off-center on the 20th. This is about the time that the sounds of construction will be unmistakable. But finding the source, much like finding where the trash trucks go, will prove impossible. If you try to find where the source is coming from, you'll get to a close to the edge of town one day and that seems to be the location.
Upon trying to find it another day, it'll be somewhere else entirely, so while we're sure you're giving it your best effort to find out where all the beeping and hammering and swearing from construction workers are coming from, there's simply no pinning it.
On the night of the 24th, whether you're a night owl or an insomniac or what have you, you will absolutely want to go to bed at some point in the night. There's no getting around it. You'll get tired some time before midnight (whenever that happens to be is up to you), and want to curl up in your own bed to sleep, or pass out binge watching something on TV.
And then Wechester Enterprises will be there in the morning. New in town to you, a building that's been there all this time to the NPCs in town.
