Ch-ch-ch-changes!
We warned you the setting was going to change, and so here it is. The first Big Change! With other exciting news! Before we get to the exciting news, however, we need your help.
As characters have noticed, there's a huge building in town that absolutely doesn't fit the setting of a vacation town. Amidst all of the nice hotels and cabanas and completely at odds with the general Beach Life Vibe of Beachville is Wechester Enterprises. While most of the setting seems to say 'have fun, yolo, enjoy your day!', the tower most certainly does not.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, was your first clue as to what the next setting is.
We're going to be shifting to a big city setting very, very soon, and while we have quite a few great locations in mind, we'd like to see others offered as well.
So! If you have any ideas for locations, let us know. Please remember places like hospitals, schools, fire stations, jails and police stations are automatically part of each setting unless otherwise stated, as ar pharmacies, libraries and post-offices. But should you think of anywhere else, just fill out the handy form below!
Also, that exciting news we mentioned? We hope you guys like it.
With this change of setting comes something OOCly known as Fluxmas and if you've read the name and think 'gee it sounds like christmas', you'd be right. Your mods have decided that with each Flux in Setting, characters get one surprise item from home. Whether it's something they need or not, that's up to you.
We will have more details the closer it comes to FluxDay, both what to expect for the lead-up to the new setting and what is and isn't acceptable as a Fluxmas surprise.
For now, just help us figure out some new locations, please and thanks.

Location Suggestions
Business Description: Since this place seems like a big enough city to maybe have one... maybe a subway to nowhere would be interesting. There's just a few stations, but when you go down to the ticketing area, they list a whole bunch of stops, even some outside the city. They sell individual tickets to stops within the city, or a monthly pass for unlimited use. You can get on and ride it, but you never seem to hit those outside-the-city stops. Instead, you get to the last stop within the city, then all the sudden the train speaker is telling you that you're coming up to the first one again. (Maybe if you ride the 'loop' too many times, you start getting motion sick?)
Business Name: The Greens Zoo
Business Description: It's a petting zoo, with all sorts of cute fluffy things to pet, and pony/horse rides. They also operate a carriage service that goes through and around the park for all your date night needs. When it's cold enough out, they park the carriage near a cart selling hot cocoa between rides and have wool blankets to bundle up in for the open-air ride.
Business Name: Hot Dog Cart(s)
Business Description: There are a bunch of these, and they seem to show up whenever you happen to be hungry. Delicious, all-beef kosher hot dogs ready and waiting in a tank of water, with all the toppings a hungry patron could want. They also offer bags of chips, coffee, and a thick accent yelling "HOT DOGS, GET YA HOT DOGS HERE!" It always seems to be the same guy selling them, but he gives a different name at each location and when you mention the last guy you got a dog from, he claims they're cousins. They all have names ending in y. Vinny, Barry, Dougy, etc.

And maybe not just hot dog carts, but all manner of cart foods? Gyros, pretzels...in the city near me there's one for indian food that I see often.

I've never lived anywhere big enough to have food carts, so it never even occurred to me that there was more than just hot dog ones, but that sounds fantastic!

Large shimmer flowers, flower garlands, trees, glittery large leaves, toadstools, hanging branches, twinkle lights and sparkle stars, fresh ivy trails and garlands.
Sundays: Burlesque - Cloth drapes in reds and golds, feather fans, large ostrich feather mobiles, large windmill sign, Moulin rouge sign, girls sign, ornate swings, velvet mobile screens, giant red roses, gold mock mirrors, red beanbags and cushions.

Business Description: Here. Nelly is a sweet old lady who had run this place for 42 years and makes the best and fluffiest of pancakes. You can get a wide array of toppings and, of course, waffles. All day breakfasts are a thing. Craving pancakes at 3am? This is the place to be.
