AC CHECK! MARCH EDITION!

It's literally just check ins, guys. Post a comment with your name, characters you play. Even if you're new here. Just let us know who you have in game, and tell us who your favorite actor is and what you think is their best work. It can be a voice actor, stage actor, whatever. Tell us why you dig them so much.
AC runs from Today to the 7th of April. We'll be poking people on the 5th if they haven't commented yet.
Thanks!

My favorite actor has been Jim Carrey since the 90s. My favorite movie of his would either be The Mask OR, more recently, Sonic the Hedgehog. I love how he throws his whole self into everything he does and how he has so much fun ad-libbing and going off-script.
Re: Mouse
Usami
Kevin Michael Richardson has been one of my favorite voice actors for a real long time. While he doesn't have a lot of vocal range for the sound of his voice, what range he does have can be applied to a different variety of characters - from wise mentors to lovable goofs to sinister villains.

This picture is missing two of my favorite characters he's played, though.
Brad
And I honestly don’t think I have a favorite actor? Maybe Mark Hamill because Luke and also he’s just delightful.
Re: Brad
Kat
My favorite actors are Kate Hepburn (best movies include Bringing Up Baby, African Queen, Lion in Winter) and Tim Curry (Legend, It, Clue, Muppets Treasure Island).
Re: Kat
Tim is awesome, though. Loved him in It and Legend.
Re: Kat
(Also, every time I read her name, my brain loops the Hedley Lamar stuff from Blazing Saddles)

stars
Best actor, ah shit, that's hard. I like too many in certain roles versus them as a whole. So, let's just stick to Ben Affleck as BatDad (DCEU), Amanda Tapping as Helen Magnus (Sanctuary), and Matt Ryan as Constantine (DCTV).
Re: stars
Ams
It's hard to pick a favorite actor, I have so many. Right now I'm gonna go with Mark Harmon.

Re: Ams

As a former theatre student, actor is considered gender neutral. So I'm saying the fabulous Helen Mirren. She can do it all and be badass and awesome the entire time.
This scene in Red 2 says it all!
Re: Val
Nic
Favorite actor? Sebastian Stan, no contest. Best work? I dunno. Kings? (Which made me cry like a baby.) Captain America: The Winter Soldier? I just adore him.
Re: Nic
Liz
Ah! Such a tough question. But if I had to pick I would say it's Carol Burnett. (She totally counts, right?) No matter how many times I watch her sketches, I laugh and love her a little more each time I do. Plus, have you seen Annie? She plays a villain so well.

Robin Williams. The guy was an amazing actor who had an incredible range of talent and his live stuff was hilarious.

My favourite actor is Peter Lorre and has been since I saw a bunch of his films as a kid. I enjoy watching him in anything and he's been in a few classics with some other great classic stars but I do particularly love Arsenic & Old Lace.
Megan/Moiya
I have a couple of favorite actors who just totally make me awe struck at how diverse and intense they can be across genre's. Brendan Fraser isn't remembered for some of his more serious roles, but he's super talented. Keira Knightley. Charlize Theron. Winona Rider. Leonardo DiCaprio. Robin Williams. Chris Evans. Tom Hardy. Pedro Pascal.
Just to name a few.

I can't believe I can't think of a favorite actor offhand. Let's see... let's go with someone from the old movies just to be different. William Powell from the Thin Man movies, and many other favorites.

Not like have the much loved box set or anything. :P

I'm so sad they took Turner off my tv station list. I used to watch the Thin Man every Christmas.

And ugh, yeah, that's frustrating. I got lucky and it was a gift - but I would've just bought the box set myself anyways. I like special features.
Oh! Have you seen Powell in the Caine Mutiny? Highly recommend even without him, but yeah.
(I think I have you on plurk? We should talk classic movies for, oh, several months, yeah. :P)

And gosh, ask me to pick between such grand talents as Bogart, Bacall, Poitier, Olivier, Heston, Hepburn (BOTH)...
I CAN'T CHOOSE JUST ONE.
But fine, just because I'll say Groucho Marx and run with it. :P
