As your mods are currently busy working out a poll for you guys that'll hopefully help us out with a few things, I come baring an event.
Haven has been a very arid, and dry location since we arrived. It hasn't rained once. But we figure it's about time we change that.
And while we know the last time we had a huge storm, we shifted locations, that's not the case this time. We'll still be in Haven at the end, and Haven will need your help.
Starting July 27th, a storm will roll in hard and fast. The sky will be dark and cloudy all day until roughly at about five PM when the storm finally gets started. All throughout the day before the storm hits, the residents of Haven will be doing their best to secure businesses and buildings and make sure that, in general, Haven is more or less standing at the end.
Unfortunately, given the violence of this storm and how long it's going to last, such will not be the case.
From July 27th to August 2nd, this storm will rage. There will be hail of varying sizes, strong gusts of wind that send the rain sideways sometimes and, of course, a lot of mud and mudslides to cause problems. It's recommended you don't go out if you don't have to. If the people of Haven are busy preparing for this storm, maybe you should be, too.
Once the storm is over, Haven will need your help, as we stated above.
A storm this massive will in fact cause a lot of damage. People will be in danger or missing, and this is a great opportunity for the fluxed-in to raise their reputation with Haven. With the plot coming up after this, you'll need it.
We're letting you guys decide what buildings get damaged, just be sure of a few things first:
Make sure that it's your own place of business, meaning where your characters work, and make sure that if you work with others, they're okay with this.
This also goes with housing. Apartments can get damaged from hail breaking windows or basements flooding, as can peoples homes, but please be sure everyone is on the same page there.
Use the comments section below to plot. Be sure to tell us what businesses you'd like to affect, what homes you'd love to damage, and make sure to poke the relevant parties about it so everyone understands what's going on.

Because I sort of think it should collapse? It'll be rebuilt and better, but like...I don't want to do this if people aren't okay with it.
