Hello hello hello! It's Vin again, coming in hot with a fourth character - meet Cole, from Dragon Age: Inquisition! He's a Spirit of Compassion incarnate who just wants to help everyone! He can read people's pain just by interacting with or watching them, doesn't actually need to eat or sleep, and seems to disappear and reappear at the drop of a very large hat.
PLEASE NOTE that his canon point is shortly after arriving at Skyhold and being told he can stay with the Inquisition because I am a BABY DRAGON AGE PLAYER who is BUSY, shockingly unspoiled, and has NOT BEATEN THE GAME. I am working on it and will probably canon update him later. <3
As a general rule for interactions, Cole's reads will be me doing a quick google and wiki dive to look into your characters. If you have specific things you want him to call out, or if there are thinks I won't find that way, or if your character would be resistant somehow, please feel out Cole's PERMISSIONS HERE to help me out!

my newest character is a socially awkward professional coder from the Series Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist which I would recommend anyone to watch. It's absolutely amazing. Zoey is post season 2 and has this unique ability where she can read peoples minds through music.

Haven has been a very arid, and dry location since we arrived. It hasn't rained once. But we figure it's about time we change that.
And while we know the last time we had a huge storm, we shifted locations, that's not the case this time. We'll still be in Haven at the end, and Haven will need your help.
Starting July 27th, a storm will roll in hard and fast. The sky will be dark and cloudy all day until roughly at about five PM when the storm finally gets started. All throughout the day before the storm hits, the residents of Haven will be doing their best to secure businesses and buildings and make sure that, in general, Haven is more or less standing at the end.
Unfortunately, given the violence of this storm and how long it's going to last, such will not be the case.
From July 27th to August 2nd, this storm will rage. There will be hail of varying sizes, strong gusts of wind that send the rain sideways sometimes and, of course, a lot of mud and mudslides to cause problems. It's recommended you don't go out if you don't have to. If the people of Haven are busy preparing for this storm, maybe you should be, too.
Once the storm is over, Haven will need your help, as we stated above.
A storm this massive will in fact cause a lot of damage. People will be in danger or missing, and this is a great opportunity for the fluxed-in to raise their reputation with Haven. With the plot coming up after this, you'll need it.
We're letting you guys decide what buildings get damaged, just be sure of a few things first:
Make sure that it's your own place of business, meaning where your characters work, and make sure that if you work with others, they're okay with this.
This also goes with housing. Apartments can get damaged from hail breaking windows or basements flooding, as can peoples homes, but please be sure everyone is on the same page there.
Use the comments section below to plot. Be sure to tell us what businesses you'd like to affect, what homes you'd love to damage, and make sure to poke the relevant parties about it so everyone understands what's going on.

It seems as though the recent events have started changing the residents of Haven's attitudes towards the FluxedIns. They're now curious as to why they'd be targeted like they were during the Glitch attack, and are now interested in everyone. Attempts at pick-pocketing and starting fights are lessened, as are dirty looks and the general mistrust the residents have been treating the visitors to for the past few weeks, and now some of them are going to start asking for help for a variet of things.
From small things like "my grandmother left behind a diary when she died, and it's very important to me! can you help me find it?" To bigger, more dangerous things like finding the collar of a beloved pet that was eaten by Skitters out in the desert. The range of requests can be wide and varied. And, as it is in almost every multi-player online game we've ever played, entirely repeatable by others.
Odd, right? Because didn't you just help Old Man Whitlock find eight Spike Mellons in the desert outside of Haven, yesterday? And now your friend is doing it today?
We have a few ideas for Side-Quests for the group, and they can be done at any time. We just love the idea of participation and help from our players, so we're asking you guys to come up with some side quests too!
Please note: while doing these side-quests, not only are the levels of danger varied, but the people making these requests will never bother to learn anyone's name. Everyone's 'Adventurer', 'Traveler' or 'Stranger', but they're eternally grateful that you helped them.

I'm Oscar, completely new to the game but not new to DWRP (took a very long vacation from it for RL reasons) - Vin is my partner and Bri is one of my very good friends so I learned of the game through them!
I'm bringing Alan Wake, a man who has been in All Three Games in the Remedy Connected Universe: Alan Wake, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and Control. His canon point is from after the events of the AWE DLC for Control which explores the Federal Bureau of Control's involvement with the aftermath of the Alan Wake game's plot (dubbed in canon as the Bright Falls AWE). [jerry seinfeld voice:] But whaaat's the deeeal with Alan?
Alan Wake is/was a bestselling author of a crime fiction novel series about a detective that is a nod to Remedy's other franchise Max Payne and its titular protagonist. After wrapping up the series with a novel that kills off the main character, Alan goes into a deep two-year writer's block and goes on vacation with his wife, Alice Wake, to a small town in the PNW. This goes horribly wrong shortly after their arrival due to the fact that the lake is a doorway to another dimension ruled by an evil entity made of darkness that wants to cross over into Alan's world. On his journey to save his wife from The Dark Place, as he calls it, he trades his own life for hers in the end and has been trapped there for ten years. Alan Wake's American Nightmare is a little vignette of one of his escape attempts that takes place roughly two years after his initial "disappearance" into The Dark Place. His involvement in Control shows that one of the trans-dimensional locations in the game connects The Dark Place to The Oldest House (the main setting in Control), and that he is still trying to escape - and may have figured out a way. (We won't know for certain until it comes up in a future Remedy Entertainment project, though.)
Also he can't run more than 3 meters without becoming completely winded, hence the post title.

Hello! It's Bri again, player of Zoey Westen - OC and seer extraordinaire, joining the Remedy party in-game and bringing in another character!
And that character is Alice Wake. She is married to Alan Wake, and is a skilled photographer as well as book cover designer. She is coming from about the same canon point as Alan is, for simplicity's sake, around/after the AWE DLC for Control. So it's been a long time since she's seen her husband. Too long.
She has, however, had a certain doppelganger breaking into her place and being creepy and feral at night. (LOOKING AT YOU, SCRATCH.) So it's going to be SO MUCH FUN to both reunite her with her husband

She's a bit hard to trust due to a traumatic life event and feeling that the government agency was always watching heeeer (and she ain't got no privacy, wohooo~). She'll be here fresh from the last DLC of her game, called AWE.
Just got done chasing a giant monster through a locked part of her government agency!
Anyways, she has a lot of cool powers, check them out! She also has connection to an alien life form she calls Polaris, so, expect narration in her tags from that! Psychic characters are welcome to listen in.
I also play Bruce Wayne/Batman from the DCEU. If you haven't yet, feel free to add me on plurk:neonnight.
